Our menu features locally sourced, sustainable, and organic product creatively prepared and served in a friendly and casual atmosphere. General Responsibilities
*Sets up station according to restaurant guidelines
*Prepares all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely fashion
*Follows recipes, portion controls, and presentation specs as set by restaurant
*Restocks all items as needed throughout the shift
*Cleans and maintains station while practicing exceptional safety, sanitary, and organizational skills
*Has understanding and knowledge of how to properly use and maintain all kitchen equipment
*Assists with cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers, and storage areas
*Performs additional responsibilities as requested by chef, sous chef, or owner
*Must be able to work nights, weekends, and some holidays

Job Qualifications/Experience/Knowledge
*Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife skills
*Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
*Previous prep cook or line cook experience
*Valid WA State Food Handler's Permit required

Skills/Aptitudes
*Professional communication skills required
*Ability to take direction, work in a team environment, and work effectively under pressure, read and understand basic cooking directions
*Must have problem solving skills, be self-motivating, and organized
*Commitment to quality service and food and beverage knowledge
